The St. Luke's choir leading worship in the nave

Music Ministry

Music is a vital part of our worship.

Choirs, choristers, handbells, choral scholars, and the Anglican choral tradition help St. Luke's offer praise with beauty, discipline, and joy.

Sing, ring, learn, and worship

New members are always welcome in St. Luke's music programs. Whether you are a child beginning to read music, a high school singer seeking a deeper challenge, an adult who loves choral worship, or a handbell ringer, there is a place to join in.

Contact Stephen Williams, Director of Music Ministry, for more information about music programs at St. Luke's.

Music Programs

These ensembles provide musical leadership for worship, deepen formation, and invite people of many ages into disciplined and joyful music making.

Choristers

Wednesdays, 5:15-6:00pm, mid-August through May

Open to kindergarten through 8th grade, Choristers develop music literacy, ensemble skills, faith, and community through joyful music making with age-appropriate literature. The Royal School of Church Music curriculum and level program helps foster well-rounded musicianship and marks milestones in achievement. Choristers sing in worship once a month and for other special occasions and events.

The St. Luke's Adult Choir is open to anyone with a passion for singing God's praise. The choir provides musical leadership and offerings of song at the principal liturgies of the Church, while forming deep bonds of commitment, friendship, and fellowship.
